Initial Consultation Visit: Complimentary

The first Initial Consultation Visit is free.  Additional client-requested meetings/trips to your home may be charged at our regular visit rates. This includes visits to pick up and return keys. We can maintain your keys securely in our safe, ready for your next service, at no charge.   

Regular Visits:  Approximately 45 minutes.  

One Visit per day:  $20

Two Visits in one day:  $38 ($19 each visit)

Three Visits in one day:  $54 ($18 each visit)

Four Visits in one day:  $68 ($17 each visit) 

Extended Visit:  Add 30 minutes to a regular visit for $10.

Monday – Friday, one 30-minute visit each day.

Visits are between 10 am and 3 pm.

Five Days each week:  $70  ($14 each visit)

Four Days each week:  $60  ($15 each visit)

T hree Days each week: $48  ($16 each visit)

Two Days each week:  $36  ($18 each visit)

Need a second visit on one of your regular days?

No problem – just add $2 to that visit fee for visits before 5 pm. 

Add $2 per visit for a Saturday or Sunday.     

Overnight Stay:  $65

Overnight stays are typically 10 hours, starting at 9/10pm and ending at 7/8am; includes at least 2 walks.

Overnight Long:  $70

Overnight long stays begin earlier and/or end later than a regular Overnight Stay.  (14 hours maximum.)

Overnight Plus one Afternoon Visit:  $75

Overnight stay as described above, plus one full visit in the middle of the day (between 2 and 4 pm).

Overnight Long Plus one Afternoon Visit:  $80

Overnight stay as described above, plus one full visit in the middle of the day (between 2 and 4 pm).

Round the Clock Care:  $85  

RTCC is similar to “Housesitting”, but our focus is on your pets. We are at your home 18 or more hours out of each 24 hour period.  The Sit begins when we arrive, a new day begins every 24 hour period.  Partial Days are prorated depending on the specific situation.  

Dog Park Visits: Starting at $35

Includes transportation to and from the park

One hour  playtime at the park

One or Two dogs from same client household:  $35

Three dogs from the same client household:  $55  (requires two SHS Associates)

Additional time at the park - $10 per 15 minutes  

Transportation to Vet/Groomer/Grandma's House:  $25

Must be within 5 miles of home, up to one hour total time.

Calls to Poison Control:  $75

We encourage all clients to pet-proof their homes and keep any potentially harmful substances in a place not accessible to their pets.  If, when we arrive for a pet care visit, we find that your pet has ingested a chemical or other substance which may be harmful, we will call the ASPCA Poison Control Line for immediate instructions on how to proceed.  There are no free Animal Poison Control lines; our fee covers the cost of the call and one hour additional time.  

Waiting for Delivery/Repair:  (7 am till 6 pm) 

$20 first hour, $16 per hour afterwards, billed in 15 minute increments.

We will do the waiting for you, while keeping your pets happy and out of the repairman’s way!  Walks and outdoor playtime included.  

Lock-Out Service:  Lost your key?  Locked out of home or car?

Call us - we'll bring your key to you! A mileage surcharge will be added for trips over 5 miles. 

8 am - 6 pm:  $25

6 pm - 11 pm:  $40

11 pm - 8 am:  $50

Doubling Up:  (when pets owned by more than one client are kept together in one home)

If there are other pets besides your own at your home and are to be in our care, we must have on file a complete set of paperwork for the other pets, signed by their owner.  An additional charge of up to 50% of the sit will be assessed for insurance and administrative costs, as well as the extra responsibility on the Associate.
